Our Pastor

Pastor Saladin Anderson is a lifelong native of the Kansas City, Missouri area. He was born in 1962 from the union of Mr. Rayfield Anderson and Arnella Anderson. Pastor Anderson is the youngest of ten siblings. He received his formal education in the Kansas City, Missouri School District. He also earned an Associate of Arts from the Metropolitan Community Colleges System. Pastor Anderson also attended Park University.

Pastor Anderson is married to Missionary Shellie Anderson. They married in 1986. They have four children and five grand children.

The Lord saved Pastor Anderson in 1989. He was saved under the Pastoral leadership of Pastor Otis Roper at Bales Temple COGIC. Pastor Anderson served faithfully at Bales Temple for 12 years. During that twelve year period he held the offices of Head Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendant, Financial Officer, and Trustee BoardMember.

In February, 1995 God called Pastor Anderson into the ministry. He accepted the call in July of that year. He received Ministers License on November 5, 1995. In 1996 during Missouri Western Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Holy Convocation, Pastor Anderson was ordained by the late Bishop E.H. Moore. Pastor Anderson continued to serve faithfully at Bales after becoming an Ordained Pastor in our great church. He ultimately became Pastor Otis Roper Assistant Pastor. He served in that capacity for two years.

In 2001 the Spirit of the Lord moved upon Pastor Anderson to start a ministry. He heeded God’s call, and held his first service in a house in Grandview, Missouri. This took place in December, 2001. Presently, Pastor Anderson serves as the Pastor of New Beginning Ministries. He is also the Superintendant of the V.M. Barker Heritage District. On the jurisdictional level, Pastor Anderson serves as the Jurisdiction Coordinator of Church Certification. He also serves as the Jurisdiction Assistant Treasurer.
