About NBM

Our Mission Statement

New Beginning exists to fulfill Christ great commission, edify the save, instill hope in the hearts of struggling people, and be light in the community.

The History

New Beginning Ministries was founded by the Holy Ghost through His servants Elder Saladin Anderson and Missionary Shellie Anderson. After much prayer and fasting, the name ‘New Beginning’ was revealed to Missionary Shellie Anderson through the Spirit of God. II Corinthians 5:17 served as the reference Scripture. The name “New Beginning” is a constant reminder of the work God has entrusted to these servants. God assured these two humble servants, many people would come looking for a new beginning. It would be through this ministry that many people would find a new life in Christ.

New Beginning held it’s first Sunday service in a house located at 12311 Richmond Avenue Grandview, Missouri on December 17, 2001. In that initial service, approximately twelve people were in attendance. Ironically, the house that New Beginning started in, doubled as a day-care during the week. The Anderson family would transform the house into a place of worship for Sunday services. After services on Sunday, they would convert the house back to a day-care. In March of 2002, the Lord blessed New Beginning to move into it’s present location.

Over the last several years, we have slowly grown to our present state. God has increased our territory over the last seven years. We have begun the planning process of building our new worship center. We are highly anticipating a great move of God in 2012. We want to continue to remain steadfast and unmovable. We also want to continue to submit ourselves wholly to the will and purpose of God.
